Topics:

With the rapid progress towards the automation of online environments through industry (WebServices, P2P networks, Mircosoft .NET, SUN ONE and others) and research efforts (Agentcities, GRID computing and the Semantic Web) Agents look increasingly like becoming an essential paradigm for structuring future information environments.

The focus of the workshop is on tools/infrastructure/applications primarily for "open" environments such as the Internet or large corporate intranets - how can we build systems which exploit agent technology, whilst being are robust, efficient and dependable in such environments.
