The holonic concept has taken flight far beyond the HMS Consortium's borders - and this is both positive and not so positive. Especially the fact that the concept is so much misused by opportunists doesn't do a good deal to us all - the veterans. Therefore the main purpose of the Workshop that I organize is to reclaim in a broad international context the HMS Consortium ownership of what is truly holonic technology. The success of the Workshop's Mission depends on your involvement and active participation.

The Workshop will embrace the holonic enterprise in all its dimensions in three Sessions corresponding to the three levels of resolution of global manufacturing production: Holonic Supply Chain Management, Planning and Scheduling of Holonic Production, and Holonic Control of Intelligent Machines.
