Universal Database Systems and XML
The Net.ObjectDays 2000 emerged from
the union of several predecessor conferences, each of which
was very sucessful individually. Therefore, it comes at no
surprise that the scientific program is run by four program
committees, each with its own Call for Papers (CfP).
Those four CfPs are:
- Java and the Java Platform [ de
| en
]
- Object-Oriented Software Systems incl. Smalltalk [ de
| en
]
- Universal Database Systems and XML [ de
| en
]
- Generative and Component-based Software Engineering [
de
| en
]
Additionally, other workshops being part
of the conference are of interest in this context:
Content from all areas, among other sources,
will be combined to the best benefit of the conference audience.
This area is now dedicated to communicate the specific concerns
of all people contributing to Universal Database Systems and
XML.
However, please do also consult the following information:

For
Speaker's (i.e. authors of accepted papers in the Speaker's
Corner)
Universal Database Systems and XML is a new track
of content with respect to last year. It takes the increasing
popularity of XML in the area of databases and as a means
of application-to-application messaging into account. There
is some overlap with Java, of course.
